I bought this folding solar charger out of curiosity - do a few small solar panels really produce enough electricity to charge a phone? After buying and trying this item out, I can confidently say that they do!

The solar charger is made well, with a nice sturdy and rigid feel. It folds up nicely to tuck away into a bag or in a car, and without many cables in the pouch, it's surprisingly thin. Keep in mind if you put a bunch of cables in the pouch, it will add to the thickness, but it's still not thick enough to be a burden.

All in all, I'd say this is a pretty good solar charger for what it is. I would like it to be a bit cheaper, but overall I'm satisfied. I'm planning to keep this folding solar charger in my car in case of emergencies and I'm sure it'll come in handy if I ever need to use it.

Very satisfied with this folding solar charger. Use it every day on Denali. This means it was quite exposed to different elements: I had to stuff it in my backpack with other things, rain/snow drizzled on it, very cold at night, etc.. Never stopped working. Given multi outlets more people of our expedition came to me to use my charger since it was the most reliable one. The holes on the edges and the carabiners that come with it make it very easy to attach it in a way that it can soak up a lot of sun.

I often am out backpacking and hiking during the summer months. I carry rechargeable batteries, but find myself using them up before I return. I found this folding solar charger and wanted to try it for recharging my devices while out on the trail.
